A terrazzo headstone is a memorial marker made from terrazzo, a composite material consisting of chips of rock ( mainly black and white chips ) which are poured with white cement for bright colours eg (white,pink, blue, green and yellow) and a mixture of ordinary and white cement for dull colours like black and grey.

• We cast the mixture into moulds of different shapes. After 2 to 3 days of curing, the product is removed from the
• moulds.
• A series of grinding with a hand grinder follows to expose the individual chips and smoothen it.
• Engraving is later done on terrazzo directly or on a ceramic material depending on the design.
• A photo ( optional ) is fixed onto the stone.
• Polishing is the last step after which now the headstone is ready for pickup.
• The whole process takes between 5 to 7 days .
• Weight : Terrazzo headstones are heavy and depending on the design, they range from 25kg to 80kg.
• Maintenance : A polished terrazzo headstone is easy to maintain. If extremely dirty, it can always be ground afresh as new.
• Terrazzo is weather resistant .
